It is a lovely apartment, situated very close to a lovely bay with lots of walks close by. The apartment is spacious, well decorated and clean, with lots of equipment to cook, eat and clean with. Would definitely recommend.
We found 21 The Rest exactly as described. The apartment is spacious and very clean, with everything you need. The views over the Celtic Sea are spectacular. We found the complex very quiet and peaceful, a great place to stay.

We have stayed at 21 The Rest 3 times and will return. We love the location and the sea views from the apartment. The beach and coastal path are on the doorstep. The apartment is clean, comfortable and peaceful. Bars and restaurants are a 30 minute flat walk away in Porthcawl. It's the perfect place for us.

We had the best week a real home from home. Great facilities and well furnished. Kitchen very well equipt. Stairs are not a problem they are nice and shallow, easy to manage. The location and views are stunning. We will definitely be back.
We've booked again for our fourth time, which says it all really. Beautiful well equipped apartment, although it is up a few flights of stairs. Wonderful view over Rest Bay, lovely in the sunshine and equally lovely when it's blowing a gale.
The apartment is very quiet and comfortable with great views of Rest Bay. Parking for two cars and only a two minute walk to the beach, golf club and caf. A thirty minute walk to restaurants and bars in Porthcawl. It was our second stay at this property and is the perfect location for us.

Very well presented, beautiful property, clean and well maintained. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Would love to stay again during warmer time. The master bedroom was cold, seems the temperature couldn't stay warmer, even after adjusting it. Only in the master bedroom, other rooms were find. the shower in the master bedroom was not much power, which we read on the house book, so we had to wait until everyone finished their shower. No lift in the building, maybe it's best to mention it.

A lovely apartment in a really nice setting. Close to the Beach and Costal Path. The stairs might be a problem to some people but the view makes up for that!
This is the second time we have stayed at 21 The Rest and we have already booked for next year and that sums it up! The apartment is beautiful with the most wonderful views of the bay. It is well equipped with comfy beds and plenty of space. We love Rest Bay and have visited it many many times and it is an absolute delight to enjoy the bay and the surrounding countryside from such a beautiful apartment. Thankyou very much.

21 the rest exceeded our expectations. Yes, its a bit of a hike up all the stairs but its well worth it. The flat was clean and well designed. The views were just lush! We loved Porthcawl for our short break and enjoyed food in the cafe next door and had a delicious pizza delivered from weird doh.
This is a beautiful, extremely comfortable, very spacious, wellequipped, immaculate apartment. The views of Rest Bay from the openplan lounge & master bedroom are wonderful. The double parking space is an added bonus. We loved it. Hope to return one day. Also, the owners emailed us excellent instructions on access etc. Thank you.

Rest Bay in a heat wave, what's not to like! That coupled with a beautiful apartment overlooking the bay it was a joy. The information provided prior to our arrival was accurate and therefore the beautiful flights of stairs leading to the apartment came as no surprise. This apartment is one of the best I have stayed in, beautifully presented with everything we needed and an abundance of the essentials . We loved the welcoming coffee and the milk frother my husband has subsequently bought one! I suppose the best way to show how much we rated our stay is to say that half way through our holiday we booked for 2 weeks next year!!! Thankyou

Fantastic holiday house and super close to a lovely beach with sand and lots of rock pools. Second time we have been there and would recommend it . We have a 4 year old and he loves it. The views are great.

This apartment is beautifully appointed and a real home from home. The owners have thought of everything and are very generous with everyday essentials. The situation is fantastic and with superb views and easy access to the coastal path. The surfers cafe is a boon to have so close for a breakfast or lunchtime treat. We have already booked another visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the apartment, the stairs are a little weary but it was advertised saying there were a lot of stairs. I'd like to have a extra bedding to put on the bed when it was cold. Also a small television in the bedroom when you can't sleep but don't want to get back up. These are more observations not complaints. The views from the windows were breathtaking, well equipped kitchen. The lounge was comfortable and both bathrooms were top class. Would like to return again in the future. Thank you.

The Property. ..was very nice....We loved the Location and Views.The bedrooms were cold...We used the blankets.There are 45 steps to climb and with heavy suitcases..it was impossible given we are over 70 however a resident carried our 3 suitcases up the stairs...With out him we would have had to abandon trip.We thought there was a lift...however also you could,nt have 2 showers going at the same time,as the water would run cold.Also the power of the water just stopped or ran cold...But it is a very nice apartment.......

This is an incredible apartment! The sea views from the lounge and main bedroom are so beautiful watching the surfers and the tides changing was a real treat. The pictures of the place really don't do it justice. Rest Bay is a stunning beach which has a surf school and hire shop with a cafe. The beds are really comfy and there is everything you could need and more in the kitchen with some lovely extras which really added a touch of luxury. There is plenty of room for all the family with all the facilities you could need. With three flights of stairs, you need to be fairly agile though. Overall, we would thoroughly recommend this apartment.
The apartment was the perfect place to be during a heatwave. The apartment and location is fantastic. We loved being so close to the beach swimming during the day and walks at night. Really good to have allocated parking. There is no lift in the building and this could be an issue for some people. The lack of lift did not bother us as it's not every day we can stay in a Grade 2 listed building. We highly recommend 21 The Rest and would love to stay again.

Everything about the apartment is first class, including the cleanliness, the furniture and furnishings and the equipment. Even the windows were cleaned during our visit! The location is superb, the views and the local walks made our week really enjoyable.

Fantastic property was exactly as pictured and described. Basically on the beach and is fantastic for kids as it is a lovely sandy beach but there are also a lot of rock pools to play in. The cafe is great for late afternoon drinks and has a spectacular view of the beach. Will definitely be visiting again.
This property was absolutely gorgeous spacious, immaculate, tastefully furnished, comfy beds and fabulous views. The area is wonderful a short walk into Porthcawl town some lovely nearby coves and bays and the coastal footpath on the doorstep. Communication from the owner was brilliant comes highly recommended
What a fabulous apartment. The quality of the finish is excellent and the view is fantastic, it was great to wake up and look out over Rest Bay and see the surfers and swimmers. Very comfortable, especially the bed, and so many extras a great selection of coffee pods, spices plus a nice welcome pack, the welshcakes were lovely

Sleep to the sound of the sea! Superb situation above Rest Bay. On site car parking Second floor apartment. No lift. Amazing views from main bedroom and living room. Fantastic range of kitchen equipment and necessary condiments. Laundry facilities with appropriate wash tabs stain removers etc . Good local information. Truly home from home,or even better!
We left it late to book a holiday in South Wales this summer and at first, the photos made us think that it wouldn't be all that spacious for the price we were just glad to have secured a place. But as soon as we walked into the property, we were really impressed and could see the photos don't really do it justice. It's a fantastic, modern spacious and airy apartment with everything you could want and more. Sea views, clean modern decor and facilities, lovely bathrooms. The kitchen is really well equipped with lots of workspace and the breakfast bar makes it a very sociable space. The beds are super comfy which is really important for a week's stay. As a family of three adults and two children, we never felt on top of each other, and had a lovely week pottering on the beach, taking Lucie the Land Train into town, and visiting St Fagans and Margam Country Park. We just need to come back to explore the coastal path now!
