Stayed at Coast Guard House for a week from 16th Nov, lovely house, fantastic location, hot tub was a lovely touch.
We had a lovely stay at Coast Guard house the house was beautiful, lovely views onto the seafront. Everything was just perfect. Will definitely recommend staying here.
A very nice stay, beautiful surroundings. Sadly we didnt use the hot tub because it was too windy. Three minor issues, we couldnt find any egg cups. Plug missing in bathroom wash basin upstairs front bedroom. We felt the towels were too rough, for our liking. Otherwise a nice place to go on holiday.

We had a fantastic family long weekend holiday with all 9 of us together. Great location although a little tricky to find first time, Google maps wants to take you to the cottages which is not the same place. All bedrooms good size and beds very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Maybe one more toilet would have been nice. Hot tub was a major success, used every day. Football field and beach nearby was excellent. Car parking great. Heating control was very challenging to work out and needs simplifying or much better instructions. Would definitely book again if we can get a similar value deal next time. Thank you very much for our wonderful family memories!

A few small issues around the property. A hose had been left running that flooded the garden and we didn't realise for a couple of days. There was a part of the upstairs tap missing but it still worked. Quite a lot of cobwebs on lights in dining area. One of the bifold doors wouldn't open possibly broken. Lots of steps, one painted black by downstairs bathroom that we tripped over. But lovely location, comfortable beds, good parking spaces, hot tub was great.
A lovely location, couldnt have been better. A lovely house, could have been a better with attention to some details as others have mentioned. There needs to be another shower for the number of people the house can accommodate. The downstairs bedroom with decking had an awful smell of drains which clearly needs some attention, not pleasant for sleeping on a hot night. Unfortunately we couldnt get the induction hob to work and the delivery of frying pans werent suitable for the hob. No hot tub towels provided, which were promised but didnt arrive. Such a shame as the house and its location is really lovely
A wonderful winter holiday for the dogs in March! We were upgraded to this house when our original one fell through the day before our stay due to technical issues Sykes and Owner Wendy on the ball and sorted everything out Thank You Wendy was extremely helpful when we couldn't work the tele nothing was too much trouble! House is comfortable, warm and homely enclosed garden perfect for the dogs. Everything you would need in the kitchen Shower great too! Walk straight out onto the beach which is lovely whatever the weather. A Truely perfect stay and would certainly go back Great Find!!!

When it rained on our last evening there The kitchen ceiling sprang a couple of leaks in the corner on the right hand side just as you enter the kitchen from the hallway, so maybe needs looking at before it gets worse, also caravan two doors down caught fire on new years evening and we hosted the families that it affected by helping them over the fences and into us until the fire brigade got it under control, very scary at the time as the wind was very strong and causing the fire to spread very fast in the direction away from us but had the wind been in our direction the danger would have been far worse especially with the caravan sight behind us So we assume the fire damage will be a bit of an eyesore for anyone due to stay there soon Our new year went a bit different to plan but it was one we definitely wont forget for a long time, we had intended to see the new year in in the hot tub but missed out on that one for obvious reasons And then the wind refused to drop over our last two days there the time my husband and l had set aside for just the two of us having some alone time and use of the hot tub having packed our children and grandchildren off home just didnt pan out but never mind it was still a great break away
It was a lot of money for a weekend, so having to go out to buy toilet rolls and kitchen towel was a tad annoying. Otherwise a great location.

We very much enjoyed our week at Coast Guard House. Proximity to beach was a real plus. The owners were very quick and efficient at helping us the first day with several issues. We hope to return in the future. Thankyou.

Five generations of our family stayed together from 86 to 2, we all had a wonderful stay. sun sets were amazing. the local area provided interest for us all. the food and host hospitality at the local pub was stunning.

The property and setting are lovely and suited our group very well. Easy to reach and a reasonable distance from several towns that are worthwhile visiting. Looking forward to a return stay.

I booked Coast Guard House pretty last minute for my dad's 60th birthday I had been let down by another property on a different website and it was perfect, exactly what I was looking for and more! We were a group of 10 adults plus one small dog and at no point did we feel on top of each other or cramped together. Bedrooms are really spacious with the exception of the bunk bed room with extremely comfy beds. The view from the house was lovely and even better from the hot tub in the garden! There's also a gate at the bottom of the garden which leads you directly to the beach. Ideal location as well, half way between Herne Bay and Whitstable. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect retreat for a larger family. Well equipped and comfortable. Great views and easy access to sea front. Hot tub was a great hit! Only downside was one shower not enough for 8 adults when you want to get out early in the day. Very attentive and thoughtful owners. Loved the drawer of games and puzzles, though we had such beautiful weather they werent needed. Easy walking distance to Herne Bay and Whitstable along the wide paved seafront. Very pushchairwheelchair friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Theresa
Lovely quiet location we went out of season great views, easy access to beach. House is so comfortable and clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Hope to visit again.
Alistair
An excellent property. Very clean, exactly as described, and with owners who were very quickly responsive to our queries. Strongly recommend.
